Joti and Field share an avid love of travel, strong work ethics, and a passion for food and entertaining.The couple hosts the most incredible parties in their home together so when they decided to say, "I DO", jet setting to a distant location was an obvious choice. The Four Seasons Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada provided the perfect back drop for their wedding.
In planning their big, day, Joti wanted some local help from a Las Vegas based wedding planner. She chose Andrea Eppolito who has a long list of amazing vendors and extravagant, romantic ideas that are out of this world.
"What is the one thing you have always wanted to do, that you have never done?” Joti asked on our first phone call.
“I want to float a wedding cake in water, and have it brought to the side of the pool by two mermaids.” Andrea Eppolito, wedding planner replied.
“You’re hired. Let’s do that.”
The couple prepped in separate rooms at the Cosmopolitan before their first look. The bride, in her lace Berta wedding gown with pearls falling down the back, looked stunning as she waited for her dapper groom.
In true Las Vegas fashion, the couple hosted their cocktail hour prior to the wedding ceremony. The bride and groom spent time with each guest, making them feel welcomed and loved; the groom then led the bride up through the crowd to the center of the space and there, in front of the fountains of the Four Seasons, the two exchanged vows under a chandelier dripping with flowers. The guests gathered round, some taking their seats in hand crafted open air bird cages, while others perched on benches and couches. The ceremony felt pristine and romantic, with a white on white color palette, golden accents abound (a nod to the bride’s Indian heritage), wooden tables for texture and small orbs of glass filled with blush roses.
Across the pool, adorned with acrylic chandeliers hanging above, the team of vendors built a stunning, deco inspired bridge that allowed guests to move from one side of the space to another. It also served as the dance floor upon which the newlyweds shared their first dance to - who else - Elvis.
Guests to dined on a series of food stations, including; traditional Indian fare, a western style carving station, sliders, and a taco truck. Toasts were made throughout the evening, and friends performed traditional dances to the delight of the crowd. When it was finally time to cut the cake - and yes... the cake was real! - two mermaids pushed it to the edge of the pool, presenting it to the bride and groom for the traditional cake cutting!
After a long night of dancing, toasts and merriment, guests were surprised with a late night snack of Secret Pizza in-suite at the Cosmopolitan.
